Review of Keystroke Dynamics Technology Used in Mobile Security

Abstract

Today Biometrics technologies are achieving more popularity because it provides reliable and efficient means of Verification and Authentication. Keystroke Dynamics is one of the most famous biometric technologies, which is used to identify the identity of the user when user is working via a keyboard. The verification process is done by observing the changes in typing pattern of the particular user. The complete survey of the existing keystroke dynamics techniques, metrics and different approaches are given in this study. This paper also discuss about the various security issues and challenges faced by keystroke dynamics.
