An overview of Issues and challenges in MANET

Abstract

Mobile adhoc network is a collection of nodes that communicate without any wire. These networks have no fixed infrastructure and limited availability of resources. MANETs used for military and battlefield applications. Because of open medium access, the network has certain difficulties and challenges in order to provide the services to legitimate users. Security is the main issue in MANET. In this paper, characteristics, issues and challenges are discussed that are helpful for providing the solution to some issues.
