Abstract

With the advancement of technology, our life becomes simpler and easier in all aspects. Internet of things (IoT) conceptualizes the idea of remotely connecting and monitoring real world objects (things) through the Internet [1]. By using IoT in our home that means, keep the home under monitoring and controlling from anywhere and anytime in the world. The current homes automation and monitoring system are works individually there is no centralized system in one city. The proposed system is used the personal computer or mobile devices for monitoring and controlling home appliances via the internet. There are two different ways for using this system. First, centralize for whole homes in the city via the administration user of the system. Second, personalize by using owner’s smartphone; also, he has a username and password to login the system. Finally, the central home’s automation system will connect all homes in the city in one server and each home has a smart device.
